Terms and Conditions:

The Promoter of the “Win Beer For a Year” competition is Woodlands Events Pty Ltd ABN 44 617 512 320 t/a Crafted Beer & Cider Festival, PO Box 1271, Mudgeeraba QLD, 4213 Australia.

The competition is open to residents of Queensland aged 18 years or over, except for Woodlands Events Pty Ltd staff, their close relatives and anyone else associated to Woodlands Events Pty Ltd, Crafted Beer & Cider Festival and/or the brewers associated with this competition. Ticket purchases by residents of states and territories outside of Queensland will not be valid for entry.

The 'Win Beer For A Year' competition commences 27/06/2018, and closes at the time of purchase of the 500th ticket sold to the Crafted Beer & Cider Festival 2018 event, or by Friday 27 July 2018. The total prize is valued at $900.

Entry is open to all Crafted Beer & Cider Festival 2018 ticket holders who purchase a ticket online via Oztix during the Early Bird ticket release, of which there are 500 tickets available for. Each ticket purchased is equal to one entry for the account holder. If the account holder purchases 5 tickets, they will be given 5 entries into the competition.

By purchasing a ticket within the Early Bird ticket release, you give permission to the promoter to enter you into the “Win Beer For A Year” competition, and for your purchase details to be passed onto Woodlands Events Pty Ltd. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

The 'Win Beer For A Year' prize consists of 12 cases of beer, each case comprising of 24 beers, comprised of 2 cases from each of Balter Brewing Company, Black Hops Brewing, Burleigh Brewing Co, Stone & Wood Brewing Co, Beard and Brau Farmhouse Brewery and Lost Palms Brewing Co. The types of beers provided by each brewer will be chosen by the brewer at the time of sending, and cannot be chosen by the winner.

Delivery of the cases of beer will be between the competition closing date and the event date 6th October 2018. Exact delivery details will be communicated to the competition winner upon confirmation of winning. The delivery must be to a Queensland address, be signed for by an adult 18 years and over, and cannot be left unattended upon delivery. Delivery will be to the address listed by the winner in their Oztix account for their ticket purchase to Crafted Beer & Cider Festival.

A lucky draw for the winner will be held by electronic random selection within 7 days of the Early Bird tickets selling out at the Oztix head office in Brisbane from eligible entries received by Oztix. The winner will be notified by email within 2 days of the winning selection, will be published via social media pages held by Crafted Beer & Cider Festival, and therefore the winner agrees to the use of his/her name in any material relating to the competition.

If the winner does not comply with any of the terms and conditions of the competition, the prize will be allocated to the winner of the next lucky draw.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

The prize is not transferrable, non-negotiable and cannot be substituted for cash or other prize alternatives. Prizes are subject to availability and the promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value.

In consideration for the promoter awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby permits the winner’s words, as recorded, photographed or filmed during the winner’s participation in the prize to appear in connection with the promoter or the advertising or marketing thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.

The promoter’s decision is final and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition result or winning entries.

The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the entrant or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final. Entry into the competition via purchasing a ticket within the Early Bird ticket release will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
