NEWY, GO AGAIN: CRAFTED FESTIVAL RETURNS FOR ROUND THREE, AND IT'S THE BIGGEST ONE YET

More brews. More bangers. More BBQ. Crafted Festival rolls back into the Newcastle Foreshore on Saturday 7 November, and tickets are on sale now.

Third time's a charm, Newy. Crafted Festival is back for its third year on the Foreshore, and 2026 is shaping up as the frothiest edition yet, with more breweries, more food, more live music and a few new tricks up the festival's sleeve.

Marking 10 years of Crafted in 2026, the festival that started its humble beginnings on the Gold Coast has made Newcastle a second home – and this year the love letter to the Hunter's beer scene gets even bigger. Punters can expect dozens of craft brews, a stacked live music lineup, epic eats and that laidback coastal energy Crafted is famous for.

The first wave of breweries has landed, and it's a beauty. Over twenty of the country's best crafty operators are locked in, from hometown heroes to interstate legends:

  • 4 Pines Brewing Company

  • Balter Brewing Company

  • Brookvale Union

  • Carbon 6 Brewing Pty Ltd

  • Common People Brewing Co

  • FELLR

  • Grafton Brewing Co

  • Modus Brewing *JUST ADDED

  • Moorebeer Brewing Co.

  • Mountain Monk Brewers

  • Sanctus Brewing Co

  • Six String Brewery *JUST ADDED

  • Shout Brewing

  • Sydney Brewery

  • Wandana Brewing Co.

  • Wooden Axe Brewing Co

While beer is the hero, it’s no secret that we are also partial to a wine or sparkling – to keep things bubbling, the Hunter Valley’s Hungerford Hill Wines will be pouring their boutique wines on the day.

And for those who like their drinks shaken, not poured, Granddad Jack's Cocktail Bar will be slinging craft cocktails and spirits all day long.

It’s no Crafted without an epic soundtrack. Leading the charge on the main stage are indie rock favourites The Vanns, joined by Phil and The Blanks, Large Mirage and Cheap-Skate, with local legends LavJav and Rhodes also joining the party. Expect live Aussie tunes rolling all day long, the perfect backdrop to a cold one on the Foreshore.

A day of top-shelf brews needs top-shelf feeds, and the first food lineup delivers:

  • The Burger Head

  • Beach Jerky

  • Flamin Grillas

  • GFree Donuts

  • Happy As Larry

  • Smokin Swine BBQ

  • Wagyu Blacks

  • The Wiener Haus

  • Veronton Dumpling Food Truck

Crafted has never been a stand-around-and-sip kind of day, and 2026 brings the biggest activity program yet. Crowd favourites Beer Yoga, the Master of Puppets challenge and the Ping Pong Competition all return, joined by a brand-new addition: Line Dancing. That's right, Newy. Boots on, brew in hand, best moves out.

The Crafted Smokeshow also fires back up, serving a BBQ lover's paradise of live BBQ cooking demos and eating competitions guaranteed to separate the champions from the merely hungry.

"Newcastle has embraced Crafted from day one, and coming back for a third year feels like coming home," said Anna Cook, Crafted Festival Co-Founder. "This year we've gone bigger across the board, more breweries, more music, more food, and yes, line dancing. Grab your mates and get amongst it."
