CRAFTED FESTIVAL TRY TO MUSCLE INTO THE OLYMPICS
Go hopping mad on Saturday 14 September as the eighth annual Crafted Beer Festival returns to the Gold Coast's Kurrawa Park Broadbeach, and with loftier ambitions than ever.
The 2024 edition is about athleticism, it's about sportsmanship, it's about throwing a ping pong ball into a beer cup over and over again. That's right, to celebrate tickets going on sale, they're trying to get beer pong it's rightful place in the Olympics! They believe sinking ping pong balls into bevvies is just as important as running really fast - and they want your help. Sign the petition here!
Crafted is bringing more gold to the Gold Coast as they provide 400+ brews to a beautiful beachside location, complete with a tasting menus of the finest foods, and a soundtrack provided by the coolest indie and rock bands around. Including exclusive access to Crafted Beer Festival brews and limited release beers supplied by 50+ breweries from all over the country.
This is the first drop of the 2024 line-up, with more breweries to be revealed later. The 2024 edition of Crafted Beer Festival is gonna be large and in charge!
This year there's a host of breweries pouring at Crafted for the very first time with the likes of King Tide Brewing, Future Magic Brewing Co., Common Ground Brewing, Common People Brewing Co. As well as the return of fan favourites Green Beacon Brewing Company, Stone & Wood Brewing will hop the fence from Byron Bay, WA's Matso’s Brewery, and heaps more.
Coming down the liquid gold pipeline are your friendly neighbourhood brewers Black Hops, Balter Bewing Company, Burleigh Brewing Company, Madocke Beer Brewing Co, and Precinct Brewing.
Getting real fizzy with it, there will be cider, seltzers, ginger beers, and non-alc beer are on the menu from bev superstars Hard Fizz, Easy Seltzer, and FELLR Drinks. There will also be wines from Carafe Wines and select spirits at Granddad Jack’s Craft Distillery, a huge two-storey vintage bar parked on-site, serving up cocktails and craft spirits.
Crafted will also be serving up a smorgasbord of indie music from the finest purveyors in the country. Children Collide, the Melbourne indie royalty who've recently reunited, will bring some serious Jelly Legs, hang loose with surf rockers Lazy Ghost, Byron Bay beach goths Seaside are bringing their hearts on their sleeves, Austin Mackay will bring his heartfelt folk melodies, and Lipline will bring some frothy rock to the shore. Beatniks DJs will be throwing down tracks to keep the party going, and there are heaps more music to join the festivities.
In true Crafted fashion, they'll be serving up a feast fit for a king.
The Wiener Haus will be slinging loaded gourmet hot dogs, Rosticceria will be grilling up the perfect companion to your tasting paddle, Brazilian 24 hour fire roasted Churrasco, Bigoli Italian Street Food will bring back their infamous truffle gnocchi and arancini balls that are closer to pieces of fried gold, as well as smashed burgers from Smashed Burger Society. For those with a sweet tooth or a hankering for a caffeine hit - Gluten Free Donuts will bring the dessert and SirFloat the coffees. There will be loads of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options for those who practice, and a heap of other food options to come.
