CRAFTED BEER FESTIVAL NEWCASTLE TURNS IT UP WITH NEW BREWERIES, BITES, AND GOOD TIMES ON TAP

The taps are flowing and the excitement’s brewing as Crafted Beer Festival Newcastle announces a second wave of breweries, food vendors, and festival favourites heading to Foreshore Park this summer. With more flavours, more fun, and even more local legends joining the lineup, this next round proves Newcastle’s newest craft beer celebration is shaping up to be an unmissable day out.

The festival’s brewery lineup has grown once again, now featuring Broken Bay Brewing Co (NSW), Carbon 6 Brewing (QLD) who made a bold debut at Crafted Gold Coast, plus three of Tasmania’s finest: Willie Smith’s, Moo Brew Brewery, and Spreyton Cider Co. They’ll join the previously announced mix of local and national favourites pouring across the weekend, with even more breweries still to be tapped. Expect bold flavours, crisp ciders, creative brews, and a few surprise pours along the way.

For the first time, Crafted Smokeshow is rolling into Newcastle, bringing the heat with smoky food stalls, live BBQ cooking demonstrations, and crowd-favourite eating competitions throughout the day, including the Smokin’ Swine Slider Throwdown, Smokin’ Swine Brisket & Tomahawk Cooking Demo + Tasting, and the Smokey Ribs BBQ Cooking Demo. Festival-goers can expect the mouth-watering smell of slow-cooked meats, expert pitmasters showing off their craft, and a few daring competitors taking things to the limit.

The food lineup is bigger and better than ever, serving up a feast of flavours to match every brew. New additions include Beach Jerky, Volkswurst, Smokey BBQ Ribs, Italian Pizzas, and Vernon Dumpling Food Truck, all dishing out perfect pairings for a day under the sun.

Beyond the brews, punters can dive into the Crafted Games Arena, featuring ping pong competitions, basketball shoot-outs, beer yoga, and the always-entertaining Master of Puppets challenge. The festival’s hands-on fun keeps the energy high and the good vibes flowing from start to finish.

For the ultimate soundtrack to your sip sesh, Crafted’s music lineup is stacked full of raucous riffs, with Brisbane indie rock legends Beddy Rays headlining the frothy festivities, joined by Le Shiv, Thirst Trap, Jet City Sports Club, and locals Loons and KRISP, plus local DJs to keep the party going from the first pour to the last.

With the whole day MC’d by beer-lovin’, sharp-witted comedian and radio host Harley Breen, Crafted Newcastle is shaping up to be a straight-up party, celebrating all things brews, tunes, and good times.

2nd Release Tickets have just sold out, and Final Release are going fast. Tickets are available via www.craftedfestival.com.au. Get in quick this one’s set to sell faster than cold ones on a summer’s day.

Crafted Festival 2025 is proudly supported by the City of Newcastle.
